Timeless Style, Proportioned with Purpose
Scope: Home Staging Inventory Curation & Living Room Styling | Realtor Collaboration
In a cooling housing market, smart strategy and presentation become even more essential. For this project, I partnered with a realtor friend who was ready to pivot—unhappy with her previous stager, she wanted to build her own staging inventory to better serve her listings while staying within a tight budget.
My role was to help her curate a versatile, timeless collection of staging pieces that could work across multiple homes and styles. The goal was to maximize impact without overspending, ensuring her listings continued to stand out and attract buyers.
Every home comes with unique challenges: some homeowners are attached to sentimental pieces and prefer to keep them during showings, while others are open to a complete reset. For this particular listing, we were working with an empty canvas, which gave us flexibility to be intentional with every piece.
The living room had a smaller footprint, so I selected a compact sofa and armless accent chairs—maintaining an artistic, modern feel while ensuring the space felt open and inviting. The minimalist approach improved the flow and visual spaciousness of the room, making it easier for potential buyers to imagine themselves in the home.
The result? A thoughtfully styled space that felt elevated but approachable. The home sold within two weeks, and my realtor client was thrilled—not only with the outcome, but with the start of her own personalized staging inventory.
It was incredibly rewarding to contribute to both the sale of the home and the long-term growth of her business through design strategy and resourceful planning.
